Evergreen CLT is proud to offer cross-laminated timber (CLT), an innovative and sustainable building material with numerous advantages. Our CLT panels are made from three layers of timber boards in a cross-directional pattern and bonded together with Loctite adhesive, creating a composite material that can withstand significant loads and forces. We specialize in the production of 4’ by 8’ panels in hopes to transform the residential housing market. The production process of our CLT utilizes green technology that has been proven effective in various applications, making it a reliable and sturdy building material that surpasses quality standards. CLT was first developed in the 1990s in Europe and has since gained popularity worldwide as a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to traditional building materials. CLT is included in the International Building Code (IBC), which is a model building code adopted by many jurisdictions in the United States and internationally. In 2015, the IBC included provisions for the use of CLT in the construction of certain types of buildings, such as multi-story residential, commercial, and institutional structures. The use of CLT in construction projects is subject to compliance with building codes and regulations, ensuring that it meets safety and structural requirements. CLT has been widely adopted in Europe, Canada, and Australia, and its use is growing rapidly in the United States due to its many benefits.

Jennifer Sherrill

Jennifer is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a B.A. degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. She also holds a Masters Degree in Education from Columbus State University, GA. She taught elementary education for the Department of Defense School System prior to the formation of Locke-Lane Construction Company, Inc. in 2008. At Evergreen, Jennifer is responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and handles all insurance and payroll reporting requirements within the Company.

Harry Watt

Harry is a Wood Scientist graduate of North Carolina State University and long involved in wood products manufacturing and engineering. In addition to being an employee in multiple manufacturing operations since 1976, in 1994 Harry began an engineering consulting business for twelve years. In 2005, Harry joined North Carolina State University as a Wood Products Extension Specialist and developed the residential CLT concept as part of a US Forest Service Grant. At Evergreen, Harry is the lumber specialist and buyer of all raw materials.​

Makayla Warren

Makayla is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Graphic Communications. She holds various certifications in SolidWorks and MasterCam (3D Modeling Softwares). Equipped with expertise in these industry-leading software programs, Makayla brings advanced 3D modeling and design capabilities to enhance project execution and optimize efficiency. At Evergreen, she is responsible for outside sales and marketing.​
